Where Does the Aurigen Path Framework Come From?

A question I’m sometimes asked is:

“Where does the information behind Aurigen/Nutritional Energetics ideas actually come from?”

The Aurigen approach, and what I have called Nutritional Energetics, is not built from a single teacher, modality, or belief system. Instead, it grows out of observing how the body works when insights from several fields are brought together—fields that all study human regulation, nourishment, and coherence in different ways.

It also comes from decades of professional experience working directly with people.

My background includes:

Registered Occupational Therapist (with training in neurological and sensory integration work)• Certified Block Therapy Practitioner/Teacher (fascia and structural therapy)• Weston A. Price Foundation Chapter Leader for over 25 yearsExecutive Chef for 39 years, specializing in traditional and nutrient-dense foods• Bioacoustic / Voice Analysis practitioner working with biological frequency patterns and sound-based coherence tools• Essential Oil Practitioner Certification (currently completing certification)• Training and certifications in various emotional and energy-based therapeutic modalities

Through these fields I’ve had the opportunity to observe thousands of real-world patterns in health, movement, nourishment, and recovery.

Aurigen grew naturally from noticing how these systems interact and just asking more questions. Many of us are putting pieces of “health” together – and each one of us has our own piece as well. Take any of this that means something to you and disregard the rest..  you have your own Path as well. I am just sharing mine.

Below are some of the key knowledge streams that inform the work.

1. Basic Physiology and Neuroscience

Modern physiology provides a foundational understanding of how the nervous system functions. Nerves communicate through electrical signals that depend on minerals, energy production, and protective insulation around nerve fibers.

These insights come from decades of research in neuroscience and cellular biology and help explain how signal transmission works within the body. It is here that my O.T.R degree has its foundation.

2. Fascia and Connective Tissue Research

In recent years, scientists have learned that connective tissue is far more important than previously understood. Fascia is now recognized as a dynamic communication network surrounding muscles, nerves, and organs. It seems to be everywhere now..

Researchers such as Robert Schleip and movement educators like Thomas Myers helped bring this understanding forward. Their work shows that nerves must physically glide within connective tissue, and restrictions in fascia can influence circulation, movement, and nerve signaling. I learned Block Therapy from Deanna Hansen – amazing stuff!

Many modern structural therapies and movement systems build upon this research.

3. Traditional Nutrition and Mineral Physiology

Human physiology depends heavily on nutrient density, particularly fats and minerals that support nerve function and cellular communication.

The work promoted by the Weston A. Price Foundation helped renew interest in traditional dietary patterns that support metabolic stability and nervous system health.

These traditions emphasize foods such as:

• bone broth• organ meats• eggs• healthy traditional fats• mineral-rich whole foods

Early on I started as far back with Adelle Davis’s work and continue on with exploring how we can make the most of our food with proper preparations.

4. Nervous System Regulation

Another important area comes from research on how the autonomic nervous system regulates safety, stress, and recovery.

Neuroscientist Stephen Porges contributed greatly to this field through his work on how the nervous system shifts between states of activation and restoration. Practices such as breathing exercises, gentle movement, and relaxation techniques help support this regulatory system. Another interest of study is in Germanic Healing Knowledge – the biological programs that were meant to keep us safe… these days – they get triggered a lot.

5. Bioacoustics and Biological Frequency

Another layer of the Aurigen framework involves exploring how biological systems respond to vibration and sound.

Bioacoustic research investigates patterns within the human voice that may reflect stress in physiological systems. Sound frequencies can also influence relaxation, rhythm, and nervous system regulation.

This area of study connects physiology with the emerging understanding that the body functions not only through chemistry and structure, but also through rhythm and vibration. I have personally benefited from this work on myself when I first began studying it.

6. Systems Integration

The Aurigen approach recognizes that these systems do not operate independently.

The nervous system, fascia, metabolism, nutrition, emotional state, and environmental inputs are all part of the same living network. When we support these systems together—through food, movement, breath, hydration, and sound—the body often restores balance more effectively than when we focus on a single factor alone.

Aurigen therefore blends insights from multiple disciplines to support what we might call signal coherence in the body.

A Final Thought

This work is not about replacing science, nor about dismissing traditional wisdom or even energetic principles. Instead, it’s about allowing insights from different fields to inform each other.

The body is fundamentally a communication system and requires movement and flow.

The clearer its signals become, the easier it is to support health, resilience, and recovery.

I hope to see you on The Aurigen Path and learn with us…
